Kaio and
Kaisenryu came back from Mongolia late last night (*^_^*).
Kaio was often astonished of the cultural differences and he
is so popular there which is beyond his imagination…
Kaio wants to rest for a few days. He was very busy during
August because of serious jungyo, etc.
So, they seem a bit tired… ^_^;

Kaio and
Kaisenryu went to Mongolia on Monday.
Kaio is sooooooo popular in Mongolia as well! Kaio is a bit
shy with this fact… but he looks happy…J
In Tokyo, the rest of our rikishi worked for the Dohyo-tsuki
of our heya!

Character ~ individuality ~
personality
There are 53 heyas in the NSK.
All heya have different characters.
Some heya historically have rikishi who are very high
tensioned!
Some heya usually have rikishi who are modest and
well-balanced…
Some heya have rikishi who are too shy….
So, there have been different colors… but, the series of
affairs is more than ever should have been happened.
We have to be “parents” of the rikishi especially when they
are not adults yet. We have huge responsibilities for the
rikishi and their parents.
We realized that heya are not the same everywhere. We don’t
say that Tomozuna-beya is “perfect”. However, we never
forget our responsibilities and spend our time with them all
the time.
We need to bring up their own personalities and
independencies, however, at the same time, we need to watch
them closely.
Characters ~ Individualities ~ personalities ~
independencies ~…. We bring up our rikishi with all
well-balanced so that they can pursue their passion and
ambition…

A group of elementary school
kids came to our heya to “interview” our rikishi.
They “interviewed” the professional people who work in our
world (Sumida-ku) and contribute to the competition with
their work
They focused on “chanko-cooking…”

A
terrible affair happened…
We are getting information rapidly and have to decide what we
should do in this affair, and at the same time, we should
reconsider how we meet these scandals…. Anyway, we do our best
for it and for the majority of rikishi who live sincerely as a
rikishi and as a human being …

The long
summer jungyo is finished.
Kaio, Kaisei, Kaisenryu and Tomokazau returned home!
Kaisenryu is relieved that his mission as a tsukibito and taking
care of Kaisei and Tomokazu was successful.
Kaisei seems to be a bit tired from the jungyo because it was
his first looooooong jungyo.
Kaio received a lot of cheering everywhere during the jungyo as
usual. He thanks all his fans! He is fine even after a lot of
traveling from city to city in this terrible hot summer. So, his
condition is good! He looks forward going to another jungyo in
Mongolia!

On the
9th, an advanced sale for Aki-basho started. Tomozuna-oyakata
went to the Kokugikan very early in the morning as a director of
security div.
As a member of instructors of Sumo-kyoshujo, Kaishinho also went
to the Kokugikan early in the morning for an amateur sumo
wrestler’s promotion test.
There was a sumo-tournament of Junior-high school students on
Sunday. Some participants stayed at our heya on the night before
– 9th. So, the rest of our rikishi were busy to prepare for it
as soon as they finished their keiko.
Everybody was busy on that day!
Today, our rikishi went to Isumi-city (Chiba-prefecture) for our
summer camp!
Besides strict keiko, we plan some enjoyable events such as
swimming in the ocean, golf tournament and dinners (^_-)-☆

| On
the 3rd (Sunday), an annual “National Wanpaku sumo (Sumo
tournament of kids) from all over Japan” was held in the
Kokugikan. The night before, members of three teams (10~12years
old) and their coaches stayed in our heya as usual.
Our rikishi woke up at 4:00AM to prepare their breakfast. After
the kids left our heya at 6:30AM, our rikishi decided to eat
breakfast after a looooooong time (rikishi don’t usually have
breakfast). Then, they went back to sleep….
On the 4th (Monday), Kaio and his tsukibito (Kaisenryu and
Kaisei this time) and Tomokazu went to the Jungyo tour today.
Kaisenryu has to take care of Kaisei and Tomokazu because they
are not used to it. He has a lot of responsibilities…
The summer jungyo started yesterday (5th) from Hokkaido. Kaio’s
condition is very good.
Our summer camp will be held next week at Chiba prefecture as
usual!
