Kaio-sama,
I wanted to write to wish you a Happy Birthday! I hope that
your next year will be peaceful as well as successful. I
learned to appreciate your sumo when I lived in Japan. I
miss being able to watch sumo, but I keep up with everything
on the internet. I hope that you continue to add to your
wins this basho. Gambatte!

| Hi,
I present all my best wishes and wish an excellent birthday
to the ozeki Kaio.
That he continues to please his fans and to have pleasure to
rise on the dohyo.
But he also has to think of his health and not to take
useless risks.
I wish Kaio also a beautiful victory against Wakanosato to
celebrate his(her, its) 36 years of a beautiful way with a
kachi koshi.
Finally, I wish all the rikishi of the tomozuna beya a
excellent end of Nagoya basho.
All the best for all !

| I've always been a fan of Kaio,
but through the English website I've come to know the
younger heya members as well. It adds another
dimension in watching sumo to follow the younger guys'
development, and I cheer for them every time. The one I've
been watching closest is
Kainokura, and I would like to congratulate him very much on
his KK in Nagoya. I hope he will work hard and manage
another KK in Aki basho.
Please continue to do your best, and know that you have a
fan in Norway who will be cheering for you. ^_^

Greetings:
Ozeki Kaio appears to have his back under better control
this basho.
At 5-3 he will certainly have his kachi- koshi in a few days,
and he looks able to use his back much better than in the
previous two Bashos.
I was wondering if there was anything new he was doing that
he might care to share with his fellow chronic back patients
around the world? Naturally, it is understood that what is
working for Ozeki Kaio may only work for him. If he shares
any information, he does so in answer to a question and not
as a suggestion for anyone else who is suffering with a bad
back.
Again and as always, fans around the world appreciate
Tomozuna-Beya stepping out and making this unique
communication with the Rikishi available. Thank you so very
much for the effort it takes to make it the success it is!
Best Regards,
Douglas DeShong

We are happy that have
visitors from overseas came to watch our morning keiko in
the recent years!
But … we are sad that sometimes, misconception arises … We
put our rules for “Keiko Kengaku”
here
Please read it and we hope you enjoy your time to watch our
morning practice!
Rikishi
have some privileges depending on their ranks.
Rikishi who were promoted to Makushita can wear a Hakata-Obi
(Obi made in Hakata in a traditional way / Obi = a sort of
“belt” for Kimono”). Kaisei got his Hakata obi

Good luck everybody. I hope you all hit your personal goals
this Basho.
And many congrats to Ozeki Kaio for exceeding 900 career
wins. Mightily impressive by any measure! I look forward to
seeing him exceed 1000!! Can he do it? Of course he can,
he's SuperKaio!!!
Oh yes, and i hope Oyakata had a happy birthday too. Hope he
did'nt try to use that cake down at the betting shop though!
There seems to be lots of birthdays there. Maybe that's why
you're all so big, it's all the cake and beers! I'm only
joking. I of course know that it's all the CHANKO and beers!!
It's sad that Yobidashi Yusuke left also, but i guess Sumo
world is'nt for everyone. I'm sure that he will take
something good from his time in Sumo with him though.
Best wishes
Christian from UK.
